Description
Loma Prieta is a highly versatile and expressive tremolo pedal, featuring four waveshapes, Tap Tempo, as well as three onboard momentary effects! Though primarily a Harmonic Trem akin to tube-driven circuits found in vintage amplifiers, Loma Prieta can be re-voiced at the flip of a switch, transforming it into a traditional-style tremolo (indicated by a change in color of the Tap LED). An onboard Grit control allows you to add some sweet-sounding dirt to the front of the circuit. Ranging from subtle crunch to full on saturation. Plug an expression pedal into the EXP jack to sweep the rate, or an external tap tempo controller to sync to other devices. Controlling Loma Prieta from an external tap device also frees up the Tap switch to activate Lo-Fi, Feedback Distortion, and Double-Time modes. From conventional to creative, Loma Prieta can deliver tremolo tones designed to inspire.

Loma Prieta is the perfect mix of great sounds and great features. So many tremolo pedals have extra bells and whistles that are cool, but not super usable, this pedal definitely combines the best of both worlds. The harmonic sound is super warm and lush, and the traditional sound is more aggressive and choppy. Any way you set this pedal you have an awesome, 100% usable sound that is inspiring to play through. It gives my playing so much more vibe and dynamic. Really fantastic trem, 10/10 would recommend.

The Loma Prieta is not only great for just getting that traditional tremelo sound that most people look for but there are also so many options for getting very creative with this pedal. From the doubling mode that lets you double the rate on the fly to being able to add grit into your signal through this pedal to the LoFi function that lets you cut bass when engaged its all around just an awesome pedal. Its a really great pedal, would definitely recommend to anyone especially those looking to get creative with their sounds.

This pedal is one of the coolest tremolos I’ve ever played. I watched a lot of videos and what sold me was the momentary doubling feature. I use it in my band to pick out notes and then hold the tap button temporarily to get a faster tremolo, but then go back to the same half speed tone before by releasing my foot. Coppersound is a brand that needs more recognition. Their build quality is solid, the pedals have a nice look, and I love that it even came with a double tap input and a nice carrying bag. I love this brand and hope to get a Foxcatcher someday to continue to rep them!
